John Thomas has been involved in the transportation, construction and waste businesses since the early 1990s. He is an active participant and board member in several state and national associations, such as the CDAO, CDRA, BCONE and RCI, all of which represent the construction, materials and recycling industries.

Thomas currently is president of The Mount Group’s mining, materials and solid waste divisions that include sand and stone quarries, recycling centers, transportation services and a roll-off division. Through his understanding of the waste, recycling, construction materials and transportation industries, Thomas has been able to create a blueprint for successful business development, growth, and merger and acquisition opportunities throughout the course of his career.

When not working, Thomas volunteers his time as president of the Folsom School Board, board member of the Hammonton School District, a planning and zoning board member and a committee member for a county environmental group as well as volunteering for The Mount Charitable Foundation’s events.
